The game is in a third-person perspective with eight players. They have to survive on Blackwood Mountain. You have to make some choices during gameplay, and the lives of characters will depend on these choices. The player controls the character and tries to solve mysteries in a scary environment.

The game was released for various platforms in different years like in 2010 it was released for Windows, Linux and Mac OS but after that, in 2016 it was released for PlayStation and finally for Xbox One in 2018. 

The game is in the first-person perspective and has an only single-player mode. The story proceeds with the protagonist of the game named Daniel, who explores the dark and foreboding castle. He has to save himself from monsters and creepy creatures in this game. The game received too many positive reviews and get two awards also.

The gameplay follows a freelance investigation journalist, named Miles Upshur. Miles Upshur investigates a horrible and mysterious hospital that is located in the mountains of Lake Country and when he investigates the hospital, he found hospital littered with corpses of staff. After that, he finds that he can not get back and have to move on to his way.

The game is in the first-person perspective and has both of the modes, single-player mode and multiplayer mode. The game consists of combat and exploration of a ship that was devastated by a genetic infection. 

The player has abilities of hacking and psionic. The game didn't get positive reviews from critics at that time but later on, experts realize that this game was highly influential and game design was too good in term of first-person shooting. The game is in a third-person perspective that has an only single-player mode. In gameplay, you have to find items to solve riddles. The game doesn't focus on combat or shooting. The game is often considered to be the greatest horror game ever made and among the greatest video game of all time.
