The story follows the conflict between a once humanoid robot Chitti and a former ornithologist Pakshi Rajan who want revenge upon cell phone users to prevent the decline of the population of avian. The budget of the movie is roundabout 570 crore INR that makes this movie one of the most expensive Indian movies. The movie grossed 821 crore INR ($115 million) that is not much in my opinion, if we compare it with its budget.
